The Application Process
The Clark County Marriage License Bureau allows couples to pre-register online.
This will help speed up your process by getting a head start on your pre-nuptial paperwork. Couples can go online 60 days prior to their wedding and fill out the pre-application from. The pre-application process will save time at the clerks office when you arrive to obtain your marriage certificate.
Do you need to Apply for a Marriage License?
If your planning a Las Vegas elopement or Legal Ceremony, you must apply for a marriage license for the government to recognize you as a married person.

Ceremonies such as vow renewals, commitment ceremonies do not require a marriage license. Commitment ceremonies are not recognized as a legal marriage by the government, therefore you will not be able to claim yourself as a married person.

How much is a Marriage License in Las Vegas?
The fee to apply for a Marriage License is $77.00
Marriage Certificate or Proof of Marriage is $20.00

Pre-Registration for a Las Vegas Marriage License (optional)
You can both complete and submit the online version of the Las Vegas Marriage License pre application form. Click the link below to start the process.
Remember , you will still need to visit the Clark County Bureau in person within 60 days of submitting your completed form to receive the required paperwork needed to bring to us on or before your wedding day.

Booking your wedding with Couture Weddings makes this process simple.
We will provide VIP transportation service to and from the Marriage Bureau for the two of you.
If you filled out the online pre registration, both you and your fiance will just need to go into the Marriage License Bureau to pick up your license. If you did not pre-register online no worries, you can both complete the paperwork at the Marriage Bureau. Both you and your fiance must appear at the Marriage Bureau together within 60 days of your wedding date to retrieve your marriage license.
